Welcome to Custom Chess Boards

I am dedicated to creating beautiful, "one of a kind" chessboards which are each a work of art.  You can match your chessboard to a room or table in your home, choosing from a wide variety of woods, tile, shells and stone, or you can select a chessboard that has already been constructed. 

Each board is carefully crafted with attention to detail and I make only one to two chessboards per month.  The boards are solid and finished with a natural product chosen to enhance the special qualities of any given wood.  The boards do not contain drawers.
